How much does a beat cost in 2026?

Beat prices look random from the outside: the same style can sell for very different prices from one site to another. It is not random — it tracks three things, and once you see them, the prices make sense.
What actually sets the price
- Exclusivity. A lease shares the beat; an exclusive removes it from sale forever. That difference explains much of the gap in prices.
- What you receive. An MP3 is one thing. WAV plus stems — the separated tracks — gives a studio room to mix properly.
- Whether a contract comes with it. A beat without a written licence is a problem waiting for the day the track works.
What it costs here
29 CHF for Basic, 49 CHF for Premium with WAV and stems, and 199 to 799 CHF for an Exclusive depending on the beat. Prices are shown next to every beat — you never have to ask.
What free beats really cost
A free “type beat” from a video platform often comes with terms in the description: credit required, sometimes no monetisation. What you may do with it depends on those terms, not on the price — read them before you release.
If those terms do not cover what you plan to do, a 29-franc licence with a written contract is the simpler route: you know exactly what you are allowed to do.

Are free beats really free?
Free to download, yes. What you may do with them depends on the terms in the description: many require credit and limit commercial use. Read them before you release.
What do I get for a Premium licence?
The WAV file plus stems — the separated tracks an engineer works with — unlimited releases, a higher stream ceiling, and the signed contract.
Can I negotiate an exclusive?
